CONSTRUCTION

Traditional two mast wooden Phinisi schooner. Built out of ironwood and teak in Indonesia by Gian Paolo.  Samambaia took her maiden voyage in 2015.

Each cabin features individual air conditioning, rain and hand shower heads, western standard non-marine toilet with an integrated bidet, and sink carved from fossil wood.

Crew: 

17-18 Crew Members ranging from cooks, stewards, engineers, deckhands, dive guides, and zodiac captains.
